Joe Tropea is the Curator of Films & Photographs at the Maryland Historical Society. A public historian, writer, editor, and filmmaker, he has made two feature documentaries: Hit & Stay, which examines the antiwar actions of the Catonsville Nine, and the forthcoming Sickies Making Films, which chronicles the history of film censorship. His interests include doing research, movies, photography, and spending time with dogs.
